Pediatric Orthodontics

Pediatric orthodontics is concerned with the oral health of children from infancy to early adulthood. "Oral health" describes how the teeth, gums, and mouth are doing at different points of a child's development. If untreated, early dental problems can cause discomfort and problems for the rest of one's life. Children's dentists provide a variety of procedures, including fillings, space maintainers, sports mouth guards, and fluoride treatments. Infected baby teeth can cause harm to a child's developing adult teeth that erupt below them.
